The "Aha" Moment

We've all been there. You look at your bank statement and wonder where that $300 went. For many of us, it isn't the rent—it's the $6 energy drink every morning. I wanted to build a way to visualize those tiny leaks and turn them into something meaningful. For me, that meant saving up for Foo Fighters tickets to surprise my wife, Amber ("Pizza").

The Tech Stack: Native Excellence

Simply Sip™ was built natively for Android using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. Choosing a native stack was intentional. While cross-platform tools are popular, they often add bloat that contradicts the "Simply" philosophy. By going native, I ensured the app uses nearly zero background resources and stays lightning-fast.
